Costa Del Sol residents have no special prices to use the golf course, but pay the same prices as the public. They wanted to prevent any future property development on the golf course to keep it green. The Costa Del Sol golf course was one of the first designs by ASGCA Architect Robert E. Cupp, who later went on to join Jack Nicklaus Design as a senior course designer. The course opened in 1974 and features 6,273 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72, water hazards and tricky fairways to test skillful players. The course rating is 70.0 and it has a slope rating of 118. Costa Del Sol golfers can shop for their golf merchandise at the full service pro shop, as well as rent equipment needed. The golf course hosts tournaments and fun events for families. They can also enjoy dinning and relaxing at Charlie’s Bistro and Bar after a long game.
Residents of Costa Del Sol can walk out their screened patios with their golf clubs onto the golf course. The various models of townhouses offer 2 to 4 bedrooms, most have a carport or garage and almost all have a view of the golf course or lake views. Residents can also enjoy the Costa Del Sol Club facilities including community pool, tennis facilities, basketball courts, and a children’s play area. The community is secured by patrol and a 24 hour manned guard gate.
