Cutler Oaks is an exclusive Old Cutler walled community of 24 two-story homes surrounded by mature oak trees and lush landscaping. The quiet communities entrance was originally built with a guard house but now has a pass code protected gated entrance. Lot sizes range from 15,000 square feet to close to 18,000 square feet.
This community began developing in 1987, with originally 4 different models in the French Provincial style with volume ceilings, mostly 4 and 5 bedrooms, ranging between 3,500 and 4,500 square feet. Each model has a formal living and dining room, breakfast room, covered patio, and 2 car garage.
The models were:
- Amboise Grande features 4 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms and approximately 740 square foot patio.
- Amboise features 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms and approximately 740 square foot patio.
- Balleroy features 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and approximately 640 square foot patio.
- Chaumont features 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and approximately 620 square foot patio.
Some of the original owners made modifications to the original models like adding an additional room for an office/den. Every property could accommodate the addition of a pool but only 50% of the original owners added this option when the homes were built.
Public School boundaries for this neighborhood include Coral Reef Elementary, Southwood Middle and Miami Palmetto Senior High.
